hey I have been trying to jailbreak my iphone 3g and it goes through all the normal process of the blackra1n program yet once it reboots i have no icon for blackra1n… Can anybody help me?
Can some1 plz guide me if i will face any problems or difficulties(frequency changes) after installing Rc3 in my new iphone3g gsm version????

I am desperate!!!, I followed all instructions from 0 in this video, installed blackra1n and then snow, exactly done as in the video for those who start from zero (just like me), and after that when everything is done correctly I insert my SIM card (from Orange) and STILL the iphone reads : ¨ Different SIM detected, please connect to itunes¨…and now all i can do is do emergency calls……..i am totally sick about my iphone 3g 16gb. iT RUNS 3.1.2 firmware, baseband 5.11.7 bootloader 5.9
Alexfonse, I am in the D..R and i have claro and it works for me with orange and claro you have to reset your iphone before you start..it will work it that easy do it again the baseband will not 5.11.7 will not change..come man you can do this this guy cant make it any more easy that this Mike R.
hi cmrenaldo, this video explains all very clear, that is why i followed second by second, followed everything PERFECT, no problems at all. As you I have restart the iphone (switched off the iphone, and then switched on again), it appears the apple logo, and then after that is reads SIM LOCKED, and all I can do is emergency calls….Right now having my sim card inserted, in the emergency calls screen, it appears a little box saying me a mobile number has phoned me, this is insane!!!….
its insane, how can I receive a missed call from a mobile phone number, it appears in the emergency calls, and i SLIDE TO unlock, and says locked sim, this is insane……this can only happen to me lol, i must laugh because this is just so bad luck for me…
When you mean ¨ reset ¨ you mean i have to go to itunes and click ¨ restore ¨ ???, or when you mean reset, you mean just press off button untill i have to slide to power off and then switch on again the iphone (which is what i have done)

If you are still having problems take your sim card ou go to itunes and restore your phone after that is done you close out itunes you open black rain and make it rain..then follow the video it will work..keep me posted

I decided to restore the iphone via itunes, everything perfect, untill I read the following sentence in itunes once the restoration has taked place.
¨ The sim card inserted in this iphone does not appear to be supported¨ Even if there is no sim card inserted in the iphone, in the screen appears the emergency call option and a little screen that says : ¨ No sim card installed, insert a valid SIM with no PIN lock…
so now I cant even access to the iphone menu, not even with the sim card out of the iphone….this is just insane…what can I do?…please send me a pm with your email address, so that we can talk much more fluently (if you want of course), I really appreciate your help, all I can do is ask for help about this, as right now I cannot even access my iphone, right now is not even an ipod touch.amazing. thanks agian.

Ok Alexfonse..this is what you do close out itunes all together you will have to now jailbreak and unlock all at once now plug the phone out and plug it back in itunes will try to come up X OUT OF IT do not let itunes open..look at the video from your desk top press the software you download from black0snow if you did not download black0snow STOP you need to download blacksn0w like the guy explain in the video

HeLLO there… I have an IpHone 3GS… I have Jailbroken successfully and unlocked my phone but the problem is that when i turn off my phone it always end up with the “connect to itunes” picture when i turn it on… heLp me plz^^
Should the sim card be removed before jailbreaking and unlocking. My phone has never been jailbroken or unlocked. It is activated with ATT

hey there,i am trying to jailbreak my iphone 3gs and its already on a recovery mode,i.e the connect to itunes sign.When i am trying to run blackra1n.exe,it just stops fuctioning with an error report.I guess something to do with the recovery mode.Also,at this stage in itunes,the iphone is not showing up.Please help.
