ok, so i saved the firmware to my desktop and when i opened up sn0breeze and clicked the link to browse, nothing showed up as an iphone file…ipsw file…but the firmware doesn’t save as that type of file.
PLEASE HELP!

hey d7 jailbreak works great thx but the only thing is when i use one of my boot logos it doesnt come up just a black screen on my phone and the logo is with in all the limits any help would be great thanks again d7

That’s why I’m not going to try this unless I absolutely have to. Because everyone commenting on this video…when they tried unlocking & jailbreaking their 3gses with snowbreeze it didn’t work
well i need help. i have a ipod touch 3G and i had it jailbroken but i needed to restore it cause it crashed. so i thought i could “make it rain” again and it would be back to normal. but then it just stays at that picture of the guy and resets. so i upgraded to 3.1.3 and re-jail broke it but now my screen just turns black amd stays until i restore it… any idea’s or suggestions?
try it again i guess. everyone’s having problems with it
how many MB did you put??
put 1000mb= 1gb for root partition

if my baseban is 05.12.01 not 05.11.07 will this work on my iphone 3g 3.1.3?????
if you have a baseban higher than 5.11.07 all it means, that you can’t unlock it so most likely it will work, like dino said it has to be pre-jailbroken b4.
it depends when you bought your iphone. if it after october time then your out of luck, look throu dino vidz it tells you somewhere
when i first jailbroke my iphone 3g it was running on version 3.1.2, plug’n it into my itunes it upgraded it to the 3.1.3–5.12.07. I was using my iphone with a tmobile sim but when the upgrade was done it no longer worked…Went back to at&t crap plans but really want to know if theres a way of unlocking yet or do i have to continue to wait..thanks for the insight after my first post!!
ok this is a little confusing. i accidentally upgraded to 3.1.3 i bought the 3gs 7/09 my boot rom is older, number 31. Dino says prejailbroken to work. IF IT’S ALREADY JAILBROKEN WHY USE THIS STEP??? if you mean that the device has to be jailbroken once to use this then ok. but another thing how do you have 3.1.3 and keep the baseband 5.11.07. my upgrade to 5.12.07 or something like that. so use this and it gave me an error. i have old boot rom. so what am i doing wrong . thanks
@yongbloods im having the same problem ive been waiting on a solution…lol
when Geohotz unlocked it, he did it on the basban 5.11.07 if you upgrade your basband you can’t unlock it coz the basband has updated apple is trying to put more security patches in so you can’t unlock it.
i’m sure someone will manage to unlock it all it is a waiting game.
just jailbreak for now and enjoy
dino why cant you crack the new bootrom? its been months thought you would have it cracked by now!
hey D7 — my iphone 3gs (model A1303) was working perfectly on 3.1.2, jailbroken with blackra1n, unlocked with blacksn0w.. i listened to the warnings and did not upgrade to 3.1.3… BUT, my phone crashed and i had to reboot and it went into an infinite boot loop…
would I still be able to use this sn0wbreeze method? thanks!
and if we click activet (in video on 3:00) and later in video you say u have legit sim card so you just plug it back in… and what do we do if we dont have legit sim card?
( is this work for 3G 8GB as well?)
