   On your ESPN ScoreCenter test, the 3G version had to load 4 pages, where the 3GS version had to load only 2 pages, this would help to explain the time difference in loading the app

   If you already have an iPhone 3g, and you had to make a desicion to get the 3GS, or upgrade to 3.0. Just upgrtade. IMO, it’s a total waste of money. 3.0 is the exact same as 3GS, except camera, and maybe a 1 second difference of opening apps. I would say you wait for next gen iPhone if they make one.

    the 3g in the video was 3.0 becuase only 3.0 can turn to landscape…and as you can see it wasnt just 1 second diffrence…

    4 secs is a long difference.
    its not just load times that are faster but the frame rates in games are a lot better and run a LOT smoother… plus, its able to handle better graphics… not to mention the camera is WAY better and it has video.

    My iPod Touch 64GB rips the 3GS a new a-hole. Beats it in pretty much every test. Bootup time is about 2 seconds quicker too
