its not that bad of lag. i mean all phones lag at some time the fact it takes the iphoen 3 years to seem lagged like that is pretty cool. btw iphones are cool as shitt at&t blows
they both look thesame to me i meanas long as u get one u kno i m geting 2g but idk one works like a few sec faster i mean thats ont realy my prob i mean u kno a few sec makes it better idk i liek how its touch screen and all the apps
Please take note of one small thing people – launching calculator is 2 secs faster. Starting the phone is 1 minute faster. Everything which is graphics/processor intensive is multiple times faster.

@ciaocanada Yeah, but on ebay, the 2g isn’t going to come with a contract, while the 3G S is for 199. Otherwise, it’d be 599 no contract.
i think being slower its not a problem they are the same stuff
true i have a 2g still it works profect and i got it jailbroken soo 3gs is not that good

is the one on top 2g? and is the screen always dim than the 3g or is it the same.

lol i agree! iphone 2g and 3gs dont have much of a difference… although 3gs is 2x faster… but still not worth the $
i’m pretty sure the only difference between 2g and 3g is the 3g functionality… would you really pay 40 pounds for 3g ur never even gonna use…?
get a 2G. you won’t live to regret it. Every part except the GPS antenna is EXACTLY THE SAME, including the display. so, don’t worry.
2g has a metal back, 3g has plastic – more robust

OMG the iphone 3gs’s screen in smaller then the screen of the 2g iphone !!!!
iphone 2g used to the fastest until the new 3.0 fw came. it slowed the 2g and 3g as well. u could clearly see the difference between iphone 1.0 and 3.0.check the first iphone keynote where steve jobs shows the iphone in close.
